Our historic building
with a story…
Our journey to find the perfect location to expand our Picknick Club dream was not easy. After a year of searching we found our perfect happy place, because the building tells a story which suits our brand values and gives us the opportunity to expand our vision.
The monumental building (17th century) with her Spanish history and nowadays called de ‘Witte Roos’, has lots of daylight and a beautiful view over the canals and the Waagplein in the center of Alkmaar with it’s popular ‘Cheese Market’. Beautiful elements like the semi-circular stairs tower is historicaly preserved.
